This work is a very sound instruction in the principles of Reformed Presbyterians or Covenanters, especially in their view of the relationship between church and state and the authority of the Mediatorial King, our Lord Jesus Christ, over both institutions. It is also in part a critique of the US constitution and the support for slavery mandated by that constitution.
